Not
that Indy, this Indy. Indy is our new Border Terrier, from the same breeder in Indiapolis where we got Otty. She was a rescue. Indy is 7 and thinks Otty is mental. (We sometimes agree). The picture doesn't do her justice, but let me tell you she is a good 8 pounds maybe 10 overweight. Oink. We are hoping the transition goes smoothly and they become good friends soon. The magic eight ball says all signs point to Yes.

This is after just two days.

(All together, now) Awwww! What a pair. How can you stand so much cuteness? This, of course, gives the short set at our house -- particularly the older one -- additional whine capacity. How much longer will we have to withstand the cries of "when are we getting a dog?" In a while, dear. In a while...
They're fantastic! And bless your liberal heart for taking a rescue.
I bit the bullet and got a dog from a former co-worker. They decided they'd rather lose the dog than have her husband get allergy shots.
